New UCWEB 6.7 Beta Released

Hi, friends, Representing
best mobile browser Ucweb or UC browser 6.7 Unofficial translated in English. All my style of menu manes. Released : 15 July 2009.

With very smartly fixed User Agent, Now more site can open in their full/web ver. For exp yahoo.com which not opens in web ver in previous UA. Now this has fixed my me. Select User Agent as Opera in Basic Settings.

New Optimization Features and Problem Fixed:

1. Improved Clipboard: No limitation on the number of entries (but has total size limit).
2. New function: Image cache.
3. New function: Browse large image.
4. Higher stability in downloading.
5. Higher stability in network connection.
6. Better web page rendering result.
7. Support switching Themes with the shortcut button (not sure which button "shortcut button" is referring to.
8. Optimization in the File Browsing Function for certain phone model: Directory links in Chinese added.
9. For Nokia and SE phones, old data is kept when upgrading from old version.

Fixed bugs:

1. Character problem in the photo uploading page of the wap version of 51 (a Chinese website).
2. Can't make phone call in dft365 (a Chinese website).
3. Unable to close window (or tab?) after certain operations (or key inputs. It does not mention what those "certain operations" are).
4. Cannot show the whole address for some pages.

Details About New Features:

Auto Refresh Feature: With this you can set a wapsite/mobile site to auto refresh at specified time. For exp open wap.ucweb.com and form Menu- Preference- Auto Refresh, in box enter a time value in seconds and press OK. Now page will auto refresh after specified time. This helpful for chatting sites.

Download Block Feature: Network providers always make a limit on download size especially proxy based connection but not always same. For e.g some operator has a limit the max size to 2M.
UCWEB makes it possible to break the limit so that you can download big files with your mobile. UCWEB cuts up one big file into several smaller pieces, and the Block Size as you mentioned is the size of those pieces but the size of the file.
So just phone your network operator and ask them for the max size, defined the Block Size as the max size or lower, then you're able to download big files. For download block size goto Menu- Preference- Basic Settings and look for download block size.

UA Fixed: For exp when you visiting Google.com Ucweb moved to wap version of Google. In this new updated version this problem has been fixed slightly. All Links are updated with fixed UA (user agent) versions. To enable this feature select Opera in Menu- Preference- Basic Settings- User Agent.
