Yes you can run Java Application which you enjoying in your Mobile Phone in PC using KEmulator Lite. Any web browser or game you running in mobile also can enjoy same in PC. KEmulator is a wonderful and easy to use application which provides that feature. KEmulator supports Cookie remembering, File downloading, Page saving, Proxy support and a little setup.
1st download zip file KEmulator from link in end of article, and unzip it in any drive or in program file in C: drive. Now create a shortcut of file "KEmulator.exe" at desktop. Now run this file and you will see the following image.
Remember also if you already not have installed JRE (Java RunTime Environment) than 1st install JRE than run KEmulator. You can find the link to download JRE at end of article.
Now goto Midlet - Load Jar from KEmulator menu. Select any java application (.jar file) and click on Open. The file will load and start to run for first initialization. After this you're ready to enjoy your lovely mobile java software in your PC same way in mobile.

How to Set Screen Size: You can enjoy java apps in KEmulator with any screen size you like. You can run it at mobile size like: 176*220 or PC size like: 800*600. Just goto menu-View-Options... and here in Custom tab (see above images) you will see all the settings for change screen size.

How to Set Network Proxy: You can also set your network proxy in KEmulator. Just goto menu-View- Options... and click on >>2 to see Network option. Here select your Proxy type and set the values for host, port, username, password, domain which was needed.

ReplyDeleteNo special settings required for kemulator, if you've a working net connection in pc, than kemulator work automaticaly. Try other opera mini or other browser, sometimes some mod app may not work.

Java in english! You mean any pre-installed java app in english? When you installed new java app it should be in english. Try to install new app. You can't change phone OS.

ReplyDeleteplease help me sir. Im using windows 7, i hv installed KEmulator v0.9.8 but still wen i click 'load jar' and select any jar file from my pc on programme files under Java it cnt work instead it shows the error box & says ''Can not find MIDlet class. Plz check jad or use -midlet param''.
ReplyDeleteSome modified jar apps may be not work with it. You can first test with original versions of Opera Mini or UC browser etc.
DeleteAlso make sure to install JRE and read all instructions above carefully.

ReplyDeleteIts still showing me the same error. I hv now downloaded 2 opera installation files where 1 is for my phone and the other 1 is for my pc so i would like to know which opera will i have to be using with the KEmulator, is it the 1 installed on my phone or its the 1 installed on my pc?

Not possible if you doing what I said above. You can use any .jar file downloaded on pc or mobile and make sure file is downloaded completed by matching file size.

Could you kindly advise if i install KEmulator on PC and load a jar file for Gtalk text messenger...would the data usage be minimum while accessing the mobile messenger through the PC.?

Yes it'll take very low data almost same as mobile. You'll save huge data in compare to desktop browser.
