If you are thinking that this news is a scam then don't because this is a hard truth. The newly launched Windows 7 is available for Rs. 50 per CD. Yes even before Microsoft's user upgrade packs could even hit the market, pirated copies of Windows 7 are already on sales in market. And this is not just the case in metros, even smaller cities also have pirated copies of Windows 7 for sales. That is not counting a number of sources on the internet where it can be downloaded from.
Software piracy is one of the largest concerns with business software manufacturers such as Microsoft. So will Microsoft take some concrete steps this time to prevent what's happening or will it again be a case similar to what happened to Windows XP and Windows Vista.
