Nokia’s E-Series The Smartphones

Nokia E-Series phones are very famous as a smartphones needs. It runs the Symbian 9.2 operating system. 


Nokia e72: The Nokia E72 is one of the best E-series phones in the market today. It has a 2.3-inch display, a full QWERTY keypad and an optical trackpad. A feature that improves its usability is the Mode Switcher, that lets the user toggle between two different phone modes a leisure and a business profile each customized with specific theme and home screen applications. In addition, it has a great battery life, support for Microsoft Office documents and the ability to remotely erase data on the phone. On the hardware front, this phone is powered by a 600 MHz processor and has 250MB of internal memory which can be extended using a microSD card. For connectivity, it offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB. The E72 boasts a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash. It is also equipped with an accelerometer, a compass and GPS. Nokia e71: The Nokia E71 has a 2.3-inch display and a full QWERTY keypad and a GPS sensor. A featured call manager filters incoming calls and can be configured to accept or reject calls from certain contacts. It is equipped with a 3.15-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. It is powered by a 369 MHz processor and runs the Symbian 9.2 operating system. For connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G. This phone boasts a great battery life as well. E71 and E72 both were designed keeping messaging in mind. Setting up email on the phone is very simple and there is support for Microsoft Exchange and other providers including Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo. Nokia E71 costs you around Rs. 15,500.
 

Nokia e63: The Nokia E63 is a entry level smartphone with a comfortable QWERTY keypad. Priced at around Rs. 10,000, it has a good set of features including support for 3G, Wi-Fi and 120 MB of internal memory which can be expanded using a microSD card. In addition, it has a 2.3-inch display and a 2-megapixel fixed focus camera with LED flash. Also, it runs the Symbian 9.2 operating system on a 369 MHz processor. The E63 also features a Mode Switcher that can be used to switch between home screen setups.
