"Connected Spice Life" is the new banner by Spice Mobile to launch Android-based smartphones are mainly targeted at upcoming 3G mobile market in India. The Mi-300 Spice phone comes 3.5G ready and offers a 3.2 inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display. Powered by the Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset, Spice Mi-300 smartphone packs a 5 megapixel camera.
The other key features of Spice Mi-300 include support for GPS (with A-GPS), Wi-Fi, Google Mobile Services, accelerometer and a proximity sensor. It is priced at Rs. 9,990 in the Indian market. Introductory price of this device is set to be Rs. 9900 and then it will be available at all leading stores at a price of Rs. 16,999.
The phone includes the support for WiFI, 3G, Bluetooth v2.0, GPS with AGPS support, multi format Audio/Video player (HD), FM Radio and 5MP camera. The video camera records at 30fps WVGA (MP4, H.263) and 15fps WVGA (H.264). While the video playback is with the default resolution 480 x 320px.
Another impressive feature is Push Mail which is a need of the day. Internal Memory of Phone is 156MB however it is expandable upto 32 GB using microSD card.
Spice also launched a HD mini-tablet Spice Mi-410 that sports a 4.1 inch HVGA screen. The Android-based Mi-410 supports Wi-Fi, 3G and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor. This mini-tablet device is slated to be launched in the Q4 and the pricing will be announced at the time of launch.
Another device in this series is Spice Mi-700 mobile Internet tablet device that boasts of a 7 inch HVGA screen. This Android touchscreen tablet comes with somewhat similar specs as that of Spice Mi-400 mini-tablet. The key features of Spice Mi-700 Internet tablet device include a hot-swappable memory card slot, dual cameras and Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset. Spice Mi-700 tablet is also slated to be launched in the Q4 along with Mi-410.
Android market in India is growing at a very fast and the handsets like Xperia X10, Galaxy S i9000 or HTC Desire seems to be appealing a lot to the customers even if their prices are above 25k mark. Spice Mi-300 a handset having similar characteristics at a price of Rs. 16,000 will surely rock the market.

where to get this phone from? my local dealer don't know anything about it.

ReplyDeleteI am not able to find GPRS setting as no service provider have setting for this phone. Also no accessory is provided by the company. e.g. screengaurd,phone cover etc.
