Longcheer India and Swedish technology company PopCatcher to launch a unique FM recording application for mobile phones in India. This software enables the mobile phone to seek and save commercial and RJ free songs from any FM radio station for their personal use. This hi-tech music software will boost the sales of mobile handsets, as India has become one of the biggest markets for gaming and music lovers. Now a mobile phone will not only be able to store music but also record music.
The result is a play list full of new and fresh music, saved as separate files to be played later on the media player for personal use. Using recording technology developed by PopCatcher, Longcheer India’s mobile application records songs in a step by step manner. It first observes programs aired in the radio, then it filters out commercials and radio talk and finally it saves the song. This application is easy to use and saves music from a user’s favorite radio station directly on to the phone.

After local tests of the PopCatcher software inIndia we unquestionably see the potential in user experience. Longcheer India has invited Indian mobile brands to come try out the applications themselves, and offer it to their customers by bundling it with their devices. The application is currently not available for download to mobile phones.
