A New Blogger Bug Which can Make Your Blog to Locked Or Deleted

Recently, a number of blog owners have found themselves with deleted or locked blogs. A new bug in blogger system that is causing thousands of bloggers to lose their blogs. Though Blogger is assuring that all blogs will be restored soon. A number of blog owners have reported this problems possibly resulting from the problem with spam reporting, which occurred few days back.  was fixed by Blogger Support.

This specific issue affected users whose accounts were temporarily suspended due to suspicious login or hijackings. Accounts in this state can be easily restored via SMS or other verification methods, but after verification, a bug on blogger's end prevented the blog from being restored along with the account.
Blogger support team has corrected the underlying issue though, and have made sure that all blogs who were taken down as a result of suspicious account activity are now back online. If your blog is still inaccessible, then you were not experiencing this specific issue.
One last thing to note, if you were publishing on a custom domain (example.com) then you may have to reset your publishing settings for your blog to display. This can be done by simply entering your domain into the Advanced Settings section of the Settings | Publishing tab.


Blogger has completed the first processing of the blogs, and has restored many blogs. Anybody who has already report to blogger support with a BlogSpot URL, whose BlogSpot URL is not now active, may post here once with that same BlogSpot URL to say that the BlogSpot URL in question is not yet active.
