The rumored PlayStation Phone now will launched with new name "XPERIA Play". It will hit the stores in April with name of XPERIA Play. XPERIA Play has the dedicated gaming controls,.a side-slider with the trademark PSP controls that will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Phone features a 1GHz Qualcomm CPU, 512 MB of RAM, 1GB ROM and a microSD card slot.
The touchscreen size isn't confirmed just yet but it's said to be between 3.7" and 4.1". Phone also support a multi-touch pad on the lower half of the slider for a complete gaming experience.
Sony Ericsson won't be announced on CES next month. But Sony Ericsson PlayStation phone will unveiled on the Sunday's Sony Ericsson press conference during the MWC 11 in February. Also rumored that Sony Ericsson has registered the XPERIA Play trademark and various XperiaPlay domains. The pricing of the device is still unknown.
