Opera has announced that it going to release Opera Mini 6 and Opera Mobile 11 browsers at the upcoming CTIA Wireless show next week. Opera Mini 6 browser will be release for Java, Android, BlackBerry, and Symbian Series 60 mobile platforms. The Opera Mobile 11 browser will be available for Android, Symbian, Windows 7 and MeeGo OS platforms.
According to Opera, “All new, tablets join the performance to showcase smooth browsing with a sparkling new interface that is sure to knock your socks off. In our lineup, all players are equally important--we leave no device behind. Our small and clever pieces of software will give you a 5-star experience, no matter what hardware you prefer", said Lars Boilesen, CEO, Opera Software. "Android users actually have two different Opera browsers to choose from: Opera Mini and Opera Mobile. Check them out, and decide which one is on the top of your chart."
Opera will make all new browser available next week to its over 100 million users on mobile phones. Opera also plans on showcasing the new Opera Mini browser on the Apple iPhone and iPad.
The company also announced that Opera's Co-founder Jon von Tetzchner would be present on the following panel: Internet Mobile Browsing; Location: Orange County Convention Center – S230 E;Date/Time: March 22, 2011, from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM.
