BSNL Got the Highest Customers in Mobile Number Portability

The new report for Mobile Number Potability stat that the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) gain the highest number of customers from MNP started. BSNL has emerged as most preferred Mobile Service operator. The report is based on stat from Andhra Pradesh telecom Circle. Its very unexpected but true that BSNL is the best choice for peoples who apply for MNP.

BSNL Andhra Pradesh circle gain 55,887 customers from private operators and loose only 16,714 GSM customers in first two months from Mobile Number Portability was started nation wide. The stats are till 2nd week of March 2011. In Andhra Pradesh circle BSNL already focusing on customer care to make it better than ever. They got trained all customer service associates to face the MNP effects.

Mr. Rajeev Agarwal, CGMT , BSNL AP circle said, “Our special tariff packs like Bandham & Nestham 2G and 3G plans are attractive and affordable for everyone and We hope more the benefit from the MNP due to our low tariff and widen network. The next biggest MNP gainer or 2nd best performer in the Andhra Pradesh telecom circle was Bharti Airtel, which gained of approx 15000 users in last two months, less than half of BSNL’s. I talked to all the 26,000 strong staff through video conferencing and briefed them on the way to proceed. To improve the customer care, BSNL AP launched an SMS CARE, wherein BSNL subscriber can send a SMS to 54141 (toll free) if any problem relating to GSM network.”
