Chinese mobile handset maker G'Five soon to launch Android tablet in low budget segment. The G'Five Android tablet is expected to launch soon in next month. G'Five is very exciting to launch Android tablet after they got the rank 2 brand in India last year and also they planning to open 500 stores in India.
G’Five Android tablet will based on Android 2.1 OS and features a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen. The G’Five Android tablet expected to based on a 600 MHz processors. G’Five Android tablet will be a low budget tablet and the price should be below to Rs 15,000. We already have some tablet in 15,000 sub range like Olive Tablet around 19,000 and HCL tablet around at Rs 15,000.
According to Jaideep Chopra, vice president, G'Five, "We are ready with the product; we are just waiting for the right time to introduce the device. The pricing will be competitive with what is available in the market. We will be launching 500 Mobispot stores across the country. We will focus not just on tier two and tier three but also metro cities with 20 stores in Delhi alone. These stores will sell only G'Five products including our lineup of mobile phones, tablets and laptops."
G'Five also planning to open 500 stores across the country. The store will be launched under brand Mobispot, which is the first chain of stores offering exclusively G'Five mobile phones across India with warranty. Mobispot is a brand owned by Riddhi Electrotech which is assosiated with the parent G'Five company based in Hong Kong & Shenzhen (China) for a long time. Also G-Five is in talks with the Indian government to set up a mobile phone manufacturing facility in the country.
