Sony Ericsson has launched a new Android smartphone ‘Live with Walkman’. This phone is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 3.2 inch touchscreen display, 1Ghz processor, 5MP autofocus camera, VGA front camera and Sony’s xLOUD.
Live with Walkman features a dedicated Walkman hardware button, which will allow you to instantly access music player. The Infinite button enables you to access new content about your favorite artist, such as music videos, artist information and lyrics search, when tapped inside music player. Other specifications are WiFi and Bluetooth, FM radio with RDS, aGPS, DLNA, 3.5 mm jack, microSD memory card slot with support up to 32GB card and also preloaded Google Maps for Mobile, Google Calendar, Gmail, YouTube, Google Gallery 3D, Twitter, Skype, and more.
The phone also have some specific features, including Deep Facebook integration to instantly Facebook access; Media Discovery Application; Infinite button to have instant access to new content about your favourite artist, music videos, artist information and lyrics search; Qriocity music and video content services from Sony to access millions of songs from all major labels and watch thousands of movies from all major studios; xLOUD technology by Sony to enhances audio output of the inbuilt speakers at high levels; TrackID to Identifies the music track you are listening to within the FM radio and music player.
According to Nikolaus Scheurer, Head of Product Marketing, Sony Ericsson, “Consumers want smartphones to deliver a rich and social entertainment experience. The Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman provides exactly this, in a powerful package with great style.”
