Samsung has announced the latest sales figures for its Galaxy S2 Android smartphone. The S2 is now the company's fastest-growing smartphone yet. The Samsung Galaxy S2 has already crossed the 10 million mark in terms of global sales.According to Samsung, the Galaxy S2 has officially hit 10 million in sales all of five months after the device's worldwide launch this past April. The top sales is in South Korea of the total 3.6 million units, European markets sales record at 3.4 million and sales in Asia is total of 2.3 million units.
According to J.K. Shin, president of Samsung's mobile communications division, "In just five months the Galaxy S II has seen tremendous growth, reflecting its tremendous popularity with customers around the world, who in selecting the Galaxy S2 as their device of choice have driven the device's strong market position globally".
The mian point is that the figure is doubled up in just 8 weeks. As per previous sales figures, the Galaxy S2 at three million units sold after a 55 days on the market, shattering the company's sales records at the time. Though figure will may be goes down in coming month coz the new iPhone 5 to arrive early next month in market.
