Facebook will soon to release new Facebook profile called the Timeline. But if want to try it now before the official release, here the way. There is a way of getting access to the Timeline feature and enabling it for your account in few minutes. Here how and also see my Timeline.
To get this feature enable in your facebook account, you have to do is become a developer. Don't worry, you don't have to start learning the programming languages like HTML, JavaScript, PHP or anything like that. You just have to be a Facebook developer by following some simple steps below in few minutes.
How to Become a Facebook Developer and Create Apps:
~ First login to your facebook account and open this official Facebook Developer app page. And follow the steps and allow the Developer to access your account. Now you're at Facebook Developer app page.
~ Click on 'Create New App' option at right top inside the Developer app page.
~ In the box open, type in any name for App Display Name and App Namespace for your new app. Just type any name, it doesn't really matter what you write since the app for different purpose and no one besides you will see it. Now agree to the Platform Privacy Policy and click continue.
~ Now it may ask for security check, just type given words and submit. Now you'll be taken to your new app config page, click on the 'Open Graph' link on left side pane. Here you need to defining one action and one object for your app. You need to fill in the verb and the noun for your new Open Graph app. It may be for exp: "People can READ a BOOK". Now click on 'Get Started'.
~ Next you'll see the Action Type edit page. Do not fill anything and just click 'Save Changes and Next' option at end of page. Do same for next 'Object Types' page and then in next 'Create an Aggregation' page, finally click on 'Save and Finish'.
~ That all you need to do. Now your app is created and you now a Facebook Developer. Now just open www.facebook.com and you should see a notification on your Facebook homepage inviting you to be part of the Timeline developer release test. If not, just wait for few minutes to get the notification invitation.
~ Now you have access to new Facebook Timeline profile and you'll then be able to browse your Timeline, edit entries in it and add new ones.
If you're satisfied with it, you can make the Timeline public and enable it on your profile. Facebook will officially release this hopefully on Sunday, October 2, 2011. But now you've the instant access to Timeline.
