According to Forbes, nVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang has confirmed that tablets with Google Android operating system and running the company’s quad-core processor will be available by this year end. It'll be the world first tablets with Quad-Core processor.
This move make Nvidia to keep ahead of rivals like Qualcomm who aren’t expected to deliver similar capabilities until the end of the year. After this Nvidia will also launch the smartphones with Quad-Core processor. Currently its not clear the manufacturers who will be make the tablets.
Nvidia is mainly known for its graphics processing unit (GPU) business and they're new to high-end mobile processor market. But theire new moves are really appreciated and hope to see some extraordinary smartphone and tablet in future.
