As I informed you about the leaked Micromax A85 dual core Android phone, now the original press images of this phone got leaked. The official press shots of this high end Android superphone by Micromax. Micromax A85 is expected to feature nVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, 3.8 inch 480 x 800 pixels touchscreen display.
The new leak images are specially made for launch event and press release and they more clear and give you complete overview of phone. According to the press shots confirm a 5-mega pixel camera and a secondary VGA camera. Micromax A85 is feature nVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, 3.8 inch 480 x 800 pixels touchscreen display, 5MP autofocus rear camera, VGA front camera for video calling.
The OS will be Android 2.2 and phone also features 8GB internal storage and 512MB RAM. The other specification of the smartphone are 3G support (HSDPA, HSUPA), GPS with A-GPS support, Document editor (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF), Google service integraton like Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk, Picasa etc.
Micromax now getting big brand day by day and expanding globally and recently ventured into Brazil. Micromax has a presence in Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri-Lanka, Maldives, UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Afghanistan. They popular for innovative ad campaigns also. The company has achieved a 1% of the global handset market according to the Global Handset Vendor Marketshare report from research firm Strategy Analytics. Micromax shiped 4 million handsets in Q2 2011 making it the 3rd largest handset maker in India behind Nokia and Samsung in terms of shipments. Micromax now became the world’s 12th largest handset vendor in the second quarter of 2011.
The Micromax A85 will be upgradable to Android 2.3 gingerbread OS. Though currently no info about the release, availability and price of Micromax A85 but I'm sure now all you waiting for this smartphone coz we can hope this will be a budget phone with high specs. But we can hope that the A85 will be launched next month at price between Rs. 15000 - 20000.
