ShaPlus Mobile Info has released a new version of apps that can locate any Indian Mobile Number or STD Code for Android and Java phones. Also another app can get details of any IMEI no from your own mobile phone without need of any GPRS/internet connection.
The ShaPlus Mobile Info mobile number locator work for numbers within India and STD code help you find any STD code in India by name of by code while country code help to get info of any country either by country name or country code. And the IMEI info tool for Java help you to get model no. and manufacturer name.
Below are the different versions of application by platform which help you in all above matters. The best thing is all these are offline application, no need of internet connection(GPRS) to function. The Java Version works in almost all Java (J2ME) supported mobile phones like Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Sony-Ericsson etc.
The Android Version works in all Android smartphone with 1.5 or above OS. In main screen, you can look-up any mobile number, Indian STD code or ISD code (add 00 prefix for ISD code lookup). Position of alert can be set in settings. Now includes detailed call log for missed calls, outgoing calls and incoming call showing Indian state (city also for landline) for Indian numbers and country for international numbers. Option to directly call the entries in the call log. Shortcut to call log can be placed on home screen by long clicking home screen and choosing Shortcuts->ShaPlus Call log. (For Android 4.0 or newer, ShaPlus Call log can be found in Widgets tab in Apps listing screen).
Also includes optional STD Prefixer to call local landline numbers without dialing STD code. When enabling STD Prefixer in Settings, you have to enter local STD code also.

It very useful when you receive a missed call, find out from where you got the call. So before calling back you can know it is STD or local. Some operators charge less when calling to same network. So before making a call find out if it is same network or not.

(IMEI number is unique identification number present in GSM mobiles phones, usually IMEI number is displayed by entering *#06#. It can also be found inside battery compartment in most mobiles). Display phone model and manufacturer of entered IMEI number. (if available in database). Find missing digit in any IMEI number (replace missing digit by #). To know if any given IMEI is a valid or not. Offline application, no need of internet connection. This is useful for people who deal with IMEI numbers like those working in telecom industry related to GSM, law enforcement personnel who deal with tracking mobiles etc.
