LG has announced the Optimus Net as a new dual SIM version of the smartphone. The LG Optimus Net Link P698 is a smartphone with dual GSM + GSM capabilities. The single sim model was announced six month before.
Both LG Optimus Net and Optimus Net Link Dual SIM have similar features but the dual SIM functionality is a difference. The phone is powered by Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform, 800 MHz single core processor and an Adreno 200 graphics processor, a 3.2 inch HVGA display, 3.2 megapixel camera with video recording and 512 MB of RAM. The Optimus Net Link Dual SIM has 150 MB of internal memory and comes with a 2GB memory card in the box and memory expandable up to 32GB.
The Optimus Net Link Dual SIM has deep social networking integration via a dedicated Social+ widget. The Optimus Net Link Dual SIM also comes with a special button that allows users to switch between SIM cards easily.
For connectivity LG Optimus Net Link Dual SIM support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and 3G HSDPA support. The phone has 1500 mAh battery which able to give up to 330 hours of standby and up to 5 hours of talk time.
Korean handset manufacturer LG has made available this new dual SIM version of Optimus Net smartphone in markets like Russia and Brazil as LG Optimus Link Dual Sim. In Russia LG Optimus Link Dual SIM is available for purchase for 8,990 rubles (INR 15000 or 292 USD). There is no information about availability in India but it expected to be launch soon.
