WinToFlash is software developed by Novicorp, for transfer your Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 2008, Windows 7, Windows 8 Setup from CD or DVD to USB in few mouse clicks. How to Create Bootable USB Disk for Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008/7/8 Using Novicorp WinToFlash:
Download the zip archive below and extract it anywhere in your hard disk. Open the folder and run WinToFlash.exe to start basic setup. Follow the few steps to complete the installation. Next time you just need to run WinToFlash.exe to start the main program.
Now you can choose from two mode, one is Windows setup transfer wizard or goto Advanced Mode tab. Its very simple in both mode and you need to insert and select the Windows file source i.e CD/DVD or folder in your HDD. Select the usb flash drive to install files and click next button and follow on screen easy instructions.
Remembered that it may not detect it if CD/DVD is damaged or has unsupported modifications. Recommend to use original Windows CD/DVD from Microsoft if possible, not every recovery CD/DVD can be transferred to a USB drive.
Optical disks images (ISO, BIN, MDS, etc.), any file archives (ZIP, RAR, LZW, etc.) are not supported but you can extract Windows files from image or archive first or mount image or archive as a virtual drive. If you are trying to transfer Windows XP/2003 CD select the directory contents i386 (or AMD64) folder, usually its drive root, like D:\. Do not select i386 (or AMD64) folder itself! Also be sure file dosnet.inf exists in the folder i386 (or AMD64).
If you are trying to transfer Windows Vista/2008/7/8 DVD select the directory contents Sources folder, usually its drive root, like D:\. Do not select Sources folder itself! Also be sure file install.wim (or install.swm) exists in the Sources folder.
