Samsung today announced the launch of its first Dual SIM smartphones in the Indian market. The Galaxy Ace Duos (SCH-i589), Galaxy Y Duos (GT-S6102) and Galaxy Y Pro Duos (GT B5512) Android phones now available for dual SIM lovers in Indian market.
After the recent launch by LG's Optimus Net Dual SIM, now Samsung also ready to capture the big dual sim market in India with its features pack powerful dual sim Android smartphones. Samsung also recently launch its low cost dual sim feature phones, the Champ Deluxe Duos (C3312). Though Samsung already announced the Galaxy Y Pro DUOS and Galaxy Y DUOS last December.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos (SCH-i589) is medium budget phone with Dual SIM Dual Active technology that allows consumers to use both CDMA and GSM numbers same time. The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos features 832MHz processor and the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with Samsung TouchWiz UI on top which is enough to give you fast speed, use of multiple applications same time and smooth net browsing experience.
Other specifications are 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display 480x320 pixel resolution, 5MP rear camera, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, microUSB, EvDO Rev (allow data download at super fast speeds of 3.1Mbps on CDMA network), Wifi, Wifi hotspot and other basic features of a Android smartphone you need.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace DUOS comes with a powerful 1650 mAh battery with 7 hours of talktime. The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos is available at price of Rs. 16,900 in all retail stores in India as well as online stores.
The second phone is Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos (GT B5512) also has same Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with TouchWiz UI and 832MHz processor but its first Android phone with Dual SIM QWERTY features. Other features are 2.6-inch capacitive touchscreen 400 x 240 pixels resolution, 384MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM, 2GB microSD card included (supports up to 32GB), and 3.15MP cameras, secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls, WiFi direct and Bluetooth 3.0, optical track pad and 1,350 mAh battery.

Other common features are 7.2Mbps HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, GPS with A-GPS support, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, 3.5mm audio jack, stereo FM radio with RDS and 1,300 mAh battery.
Both Galaxy Y and Y Pro Duos phones also come with the ChatON instant messaging app, Samsung's Social Hub, Polaris Office document editor and Find My Mobile for locating or remote locking/wiping the devices.
The Galaxy Y DUOS is lowest in cost among all three dual SIM phones above. It'll be available only for Rs 10,490 in Indian market.

I have been using the Galaxy Y pro for five days and have been pretty much satisfied with it's speed and build quality.
ReplyDeleteTo my experience, its the best QWERTY android device you can get at a budget price and be satisfied with its performance. There are many expensive android devices out there which can do half what the galaxy y pro can do.
