Blogger today announced two new Google+ features for all blog owner at blogger.com. The one is a +1 button to make it easy for blog users to recommend and share it, the another is Google+ badge to link a Google+ profile or page of your blog.
Though Google already made available all these codes at developer page but new +1 button and Google+ badge gadgets makes it more easy to add them on any widget area on your blog.
As Google note on a blog post, "Imagine being able to share your blog with like-minded people across the web. Today we’ve made doing that easier with the introduction of two Google+ gadgets, the +1 button and Google+ Badge. Unlike the +1 button that can appear below a post, this gadget is specific to your blog. Displaying it on your blog will allow visitors to endorse your blog and share it with their friends".
As you know Blogger has already added +1 button on below of each post but now with this +1 button gadget you can easy add it on other place of your blog. Adding a +1 button give many benefits to your blog coz as soon as someone clicks on the +1 button next to your blog, they’ll also have the option to share it with their friends, contacts, or the rest of the web. The +1s from your readers will appear to people in their circles whenever your blog shows up in Google search results.
Another, Google+ badge gadget allow you to add Google+ badge of your own profile or page of your bog on Google+. Google+ badge allows your blog to connect with friends, fans, and customers. Your readers can add you, or your blog to their circles and follow your blog posts on Google+ social network.
Its very easy to add them to your blog. Just goto your blogger dashboard, navigate to Layout and click on "Add a Gadget", and select them from the list of gadgets under Basics. Select +1 button and select size you need and click on save. Or select Google+ Badge and copy your Google+ ID and paste in 'Enter a Google+ Profile or Page ID' section, choose the color and click save. It'll also show you live preview of button or badge.
