Opera Software ASA and Telkomsel has signed a deal to provides more cheap mobile internet to all their users. With Telkomsel's new product called simPATI, you can pay less for more web browsing by using Opera Mini, a famous mobile web browser which shrinks down pages by up to 90%.
Opera Mini makes lower data charges, faster page-load times and webpages that look great on any mobile phone. But now all simPATI subscribers are able to download, upload, use social networks, email, chat on WhatsApp and surf the web on Opera Mini for just IDR 0,5/kB.
The head of the marketing communications group at Telkomsel, Lindayanti Harjono said, “Internet access has now become one of Indonesian mobile users’ basic needs. Telkomsel accommodates these needs by providing simPATI: a product for today's digital lifestyle that offers Opera Mini for faster mobile browsing and WhatsApp for connecting with your friends."
