Xiaomi's CEO, Lei Jun, made a surprise announcement today that the much anticipated Redmi Note phablet with LTE would go on sale in China today. Jun made this announcement via his Weibo (which was followed by an announcement on Twitter), a platform that happens to be China's take on Twitter.
