LG has recently introduced a low budget Android smartphone LG Optimus NET P690. Now this phone available in India. The LG Optimus NET runs on Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) and powered by 800 MHz processor.
The Optimus Net is an entry-level smartphone with powerful specifications. The 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227T processor is enough fast to deliver faster web-browsing, application start-up, and powerful multi-media data processing. The 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display screen with 320 x 480 pixels resolution lets you enjoy clearer and sharper viewing of multimedia. LG Optimus NET features a 3 megapixel autofocus camera with 4x zoom which lets you click images with good clarity. It able to video recording at 640 x 480, 24 fps.
The Optimus Net has 150 MB of internal memory, 512 MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB also a 2GB memory card included in package.
The Optimus Net comes with a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen with 262k colors support and 320 x 480 pixels resolution, along with accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and proximity sensor for auto turn-off.
LG Optimus NET P690 alow you to browser Internet through Wi-Fi and 3G. It comes pre-installed LG Social+, Yahoo Finance, Gmail, Google Search, Polaris Viewer, YouTube etc apps. The phone also supports applications like photo viewer, editor, document viewer.
The handset is powered by Li-Ion 1500mAh battery, which provides a talk time up to 12 hours. When fully charged, the LG Optimus NET provides a standby time of 581 hours.
The international version of LG Optimus NET also features dual sim but the Indian version of the LG Optimus Net does not come with dual-SIM support. The LG has not made any official announcement but the phone is now listed as available at LG India's site.
